A broken wrist because of me.

Turned sixteen two days ago. Nothing seems to have changed.

It's been so long, too long.

I just wanted to say thanks to my mum and dad for five happy years as their daughter, five years where they set the foundations to the person I am today. I want to thank Hermione, mum, and Ron, dad, for the past ten years, for never once making me feel like I wasn't part of the family and for always treating me like their daughter and taking me in in the first place.

A thank you to Rose and Hugo also for accepting myself and my brother into their lives without resenting us and making us feel like we didn't belong. To Summer and Autumn, Grace, Christian and Tiny for never once making us feel like we didn't belong.

Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry, Teddy, Uncle George and Aunt Helena, Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur, Vic...and so many many more, people that I could name and be here for a week trying to do so.

Sometimes people never realise how important family is until they lose it and without David, without all of you who were there for me I don't think I would ever have become the strong person I am today.

So this...this is for you.

The world cannot change if those who are trying to change it are still living in fear of the prejudices they are trying to change. They fight for what they believe in but they do not lead by example and take the bull by the horns and say Hey, enough is enough and I will live my life how I want to live it. It is only then the world can start to change and become a better place, only when people stop trying to change it and actually take a stand and take action themselves in their own lives.
